I learned so much from doing this assignment. The knowledge gained has led me to a colleague who welcomed the information I shared about assistive technology. She was able to help one of her students, who stuttered a lot, as this fostered more independence in tasks that would have been otherwise challenging.

Reflection

Additional knowledge about educational games has improved my mathematics teaching due to their effect on the different learning styles of students. I now use games as the main resource in my math intervention classes. The games I used often incorporate real-world scenarios, which has made my students who once lacked interest in math become active participants.  I cannot wait to see their performance in the next district-wide assessment!  


Discussion forums have helped me to think critically, analyze information, and construct well-reasoned arguments about the various topics we did in this course. Engaging in these discussions has challenged me to always consider different viewpoints

Reflection

Implementing the DID model lesson has forced me to incorporate a more technology-oriented approach with engaging activities which has made lessons more interactive and has increased student participation. It has enhanced my instructional strategies and fostered a continuous improvement mindset in my teaching practices.
